Adriano Cenedese received his degree from the prestigious G.B. Cerletti School of Viticulture and Oenology at Conegliano. As Senior Oenologist at the Collalto Winery since 1975, his efforts, carried out with dedication and passion, have assisted three generations of Collaltos: firstly Count Rambaldo di Collalto, then Prince Manfredo di Collalto, and finally the current owner of the family estate, Princess Isabella de Croÿ Collalto.
Overseeing a well-trained, professional staff of ten, he is responsible for the smooth functioning of all of the activities in the winery, from the moment the grapes arrive through to the shipping of the finished wine throughout Italy and abroad.
“Our goal”, explains Cenedese, “is to ensure that the consumer receives a wine of uncompromising quality, one that is the fruit of a deep respect for our terroir. Here, technical advances in winemaking and vineyard management are always at the service of producing wines whose qualities will be easily recognised and elegant, and wines offered at a reasonable price. Our Proseccos Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, as well as our Treviso whites and reds from our native grapes, and our Riservas that are blends of international varieties, all of these exhibit a natural aptitude for drinkability, for elegance, and refreshing crispness, qualities that our winery must always strive to improve still further, taking little account of passing fads but taking seriously, at all times, the consumer’s desires”.
